Me? Not so much. I'm a Cadburry Mini Egg gal, myself. But, I'll tell you what else I'm a big fan of... long weekends, warmer weather, and flower arrangements from kaynorr's fam.

So, this is me Tuesday morning. The grimace is because later that day, I sold my car. It had been a LONG time coming. It couldnt pass emissions and I was unwilling to fork over however much it cost to repair it. As awesome as Volvo's are, they are mad expensive to repair. That car had really become my safety blanket and I was pretty upset by letting it go. But, having a car in Chicago is a luxury and the amount of money that I'm saving a month will be significant. And saving money is where its at right now. So, if you'll indulge me, heres a love letter to my car:

For twelve years now, you’ve been an expensive friend.
But now is the time, when our road together comes to an end.

Through forty states and many miles
You've carried me and my friends in conservative style.

You’ve been a bed, a bar, a u-haul truck.
Without your sturdy frame, in 3 accidents, I would have been, uh... screwed.

It was more than a car, it was a wagon.
Goodbye, Blue Steel, my chariot of dragons.

February has been/is the hardest month for me. I turn into a sad, agoraphobic, sleepy panda who wants very little to do with the outside world. I use my lightbox daily but I suspect my disposition is equal parts sunlight deprivation and fatigue from the death march that is winter. Though speaking of March, its right around the corner... which means I've survived another February. Go me.

Special thanks go to catching up on the back catalog of 'No Reservations' and 'Rescue Me'. I'm hooked on both and am saddened that I dont have a spare $70 laying around to see Tony Bourdain when he comes to Chicago in April.

I've also sporadically enjoyed watching the Olympics this year. I think Skicross is my new favorite event and that it should be required that all sportscasters must be Canadian.

Between episodes of 'RuPaul's Drag Race', 'Pawn Stars', 'Hoarders/Intervention', 'Toddlers and Tiaras', 'Project Runway', and many more I put together an awesome puzzle that was full of fanciful fun: fairies, vampires, dandelions...

Anytime that I would chastise myself for being lame and putting together a puzzle I would tell myself that I was honing my skill for when I am on 'Survivor'... which I am also watching.

Although it has been suggested that we all should "shoot our televisions" to cure societal ills, going to Miami every Thursday to watch 'Burn Notice' certainly kills my ills in February.

Hey Sportsfans!

This Friday, if you are available and live in the Chicagoland area, you are invited to attend "Graffiti" (a comedy/variety show) at The Playground Theater. It is located at 3209 N. Halsted at the intersection of Belmont and Halsted. I'll be doing a 6-8 minute set of both comedy AND variety... you like variety, right?!

Show starts at 10. Tickets are $10. Its BYOB. Hope to see you there.
